RICHFIELD, Wis. (October 21, 2026) — AXCS Equipment, an industry leader in aerial lift and material handling equipment, has announced the appointment of Shaun Byrne as the company’s new Northeast Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Byrne will focus on strengthening relationships with dealer and rental partners, driving sales growth, and identifying strategic new business opportunities throughout the Northeast region.
“I am thrilled to join AXCS Equipment at such an exciting time in the company’s growth,” said Byrne. “What stands out to me most about AXCS is that this is an organization that genuinely listens to the customer and implements real changes to its equipment to solve field challenges. My approach has always been to put myself directly in the customer’s shoes—asking how I would want to be supported so that doing business together is a seamless, long-term partnership.”
Byrne brings 13 years of equipment rental industry experience to AXCS Equipment, having built his career at Sunbelt Rentals across multiple leadership and customer-facing roles. His background spans hands-on experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Branch Manager, and Market Logistics Operational Manager. This blend of sales leadership, branch operations, and fleet logistics gives Byrne a deep, practical understanding of the day-to-day demands facing equipment rental yards and contractors.
“We are very excited to welcome Shaun to the AXCS sales team to lead our Northeast territory,” said David Porter, Vice President of Sales for AXCS Equipment. “Shaun pairs a strong background in rental operations and branch management with a relentless work ethic and exceptional listening skills. Having spent over a decade in the rental industry, he understands the operational realities our partners face every day, making him an invaluable resource for our customers in the Northeast.”
In his new position, Byrne will manage regional accounts, expand equipment availability across the Northeast, and provide dedicated support for AXCS scissor lifts and telehandlers.
